Full week of circus tricks

HAPPY OCTOBER! Okay, I know! It has been over a week since the last posting, but we've been busy here! Nana and Papa B came for a visit, so we've been playing hard! Most of our time has been spent outside on the swings and slides, but we also managed to get some good Chuck E. Cheese time in, a trip to a soccer game to watch Daddy coach, and learning some new tricks...
Kylie took great interest in Papa playing solitaire on the computer and thought she would like to try. She also decided to start practicing her pony tricks; she thinks it is fun to stand up on the horse to rock...never a dull moment.
Rodgers has been playing marbles, spelling lots of words, and learning about adding numbers together. He has also been working on his "K" sound quite a bit. He still says the big blue slide is "too dark for me." One day...
Mama started taking down the wallpaper in her bedroom, so we are back in the midst of house projects. (not that they ever really end around here) Papa was nice enough to "shed a little light" while he was here by putting a light in the linen closet upstairs and fixing the light kit on the fan in the den. It's always nice when you can put your house guests to work, you know?!
