There is always that special "toy of the day" that both kids inevitably want to play with at the same time; today is the day of the bubble blower. Rodgers really did have it first this morning, but Kylie is pretending not to understand that since it was her present from Nana Irwin for her birthday. She has gotten very good at the "casually-walk-by-my-brother-and-grab-the-toy-at the-last-moment-and-run-away" move, which is then followed by yelling, chasing and tackling, which is followed by shouting and fake crying. All this to say that Kylie went off to take her morning nap with Rodgers explaining to her that the bubble blower was "your present from Nana Irwin for me to play with for your birthday." Clever. We'll see how it goes when she comes back fully recharged from her nap...
