We got home late last night, but that didn't stop Kylie from showing up in my room at 7:10 am already dressed for school! She was so excited! We had plenty of time for breakfast and devotions with the boys before heading off to take Rodgers to school. She wanted to go straight to her school from there, so I had to explain that her school was still closed because it was too early. I told her we could come home and take some pictures for her first day. So we had a little photo shoot in the driveway for a while, then Tara brought Jule over to get their picture together before we headed out. She led the way right down the hall to her class, put her things in her cubbie, put her lunch away, walked into her room and picked her apple and put it in the basket, and she was off into the mix. The room was already buzzing with activity...mainly boys in her class (only 5 girls out of a class of 16). Imani is on vacation with her family this week, so she is making new friends so she will be able to introduce Imani when she gets to come to class next Monday. She had a great day and asked on the way home if she gets to go tomorrow. I told her yes and she said, "oh goodie!" She has waited a long time to go to school!
