We've been busy...

First of all, how cute is this picture of "loverboy" with his precious Tara??  Too funny!  He absolutely goes nuts every time he sees her and cries at the front door if he sees her get home, get out of her car, and walk to her front door instead of over to see him!!  Hilarious!

 We had a packed weekend.  Kylie had her first gymnastics class.  She has never done any

 gymnastics before, but I still put her in the older class because I thought she would like it more.  She did really well and didn't seem to get too intimidated with all the stuff she didn't know how to do.  She did great trying everything!  It always makes me laugh to watch kids

 stretching and warming up. -especially the jumping jacks! LOL!

 She was way excited about doing a headstand.  At the end of class, everyone got a stamp on their hand.  That was another highlight.

After gymnastics, we headed down to Columbia for a quick trip to celebrate Uncle Tripp's birthday.  We all had dinner at D's, then went back to the house for some "hide-n-seek" and a book with Uncle Will.  Then all the kids piled on Uncle Tripp for a picture; wasn't that a great idea???  :)  Eli enjoyed his time with Nana Stewart and Papa Rock!

We drove back Saturday night getting the kids in bed a little late, but they fell asleep for the last half of the ride.  Sunday was the last day the pool was open, so we headed down for a little while in the afternoon.  It is sad that summer is over now, but I really am ready for Fall!  Maybe that is partly just because school has already started.  Anyway, Sunday night we went to the Shoemakers' house for dinner.  The kids had fun playing, and Kylie and Ellie had fun putting on make up.  Sunday night was another late night for the kids (I know!  That is so bad on a school night!!!  I'm a bad mom!).  Monday morning was a little rough on the kids. -well, actually just the boys.  Kylie was her normal cheery self, ready to go, but the boys were STRUGGLING!

Monday was also my first day with four kids!  We had a great afternoon with Imani!  I think it is going to be a fun year.  The girls are really enjoying being in class together, too.
