We had a blast in Richmond visiting and working with the family! It was HOT, but we all survived. I hid in the air conditioning a lot. The kids were loving the plastic pool we set up on the deck...and so did Wilbur after being a little unsure at first! Uncle Ian & Aunt Courtney's backyard was a great place for tea parties and pirate adventures. The kids had a great time working in the yard with Aunt Patti and Aunt Linda, too. Nana B cooked up some great meals for us all to enjoy. It is even more fun to eat when you aren't the one cooking, right? Rod, Papa Fred, Papa B and Ian were hard at work the entire weekend...with a little time out for golf Sunday afternoon. -although how they played in that heat is beyond me. Best of all, the Cockaboose got new brakes and an oil change and we had a squeekless drive home. Oh, and Rodgers didn't come home with us; he is off on an adventure with Nana Kathy and Papa Fred in NJ!
